01 / BEHIND THE GLOVES
Giving his energy a direction.
Before boxing, İsmail was passionate about basketball and describes a life in which he had to learn to stand up for himself. Entering a gym gave him a framework to turn that energy into discipline and focus.
The loss of his father, financial difficulties and a long interruption tested his journey. He says he became calmer, more observant and patient. Today, he wants a better life for his mother and himself, then to offer other fighters the support he received.
02 / THE JOURNEY
Patient. Then explosive.
İsmail reports 15 amateur wins and 2 losses, with regional titles, followed by a professional debut in December 2022. He declares 5 wins, all by KO, with no losses or draws. His style relies on reading opponents and choosing the moment to accelerate. The reported 63.5–67 kg range does not establish one division.
03 / EXPERIENCE & MOTIVATION
The journey, in depth.
From basketball to boxing
İsmail describes a childhood in Antalya far from its tourist image. Basketball played a major role: he says he reached a semi-professional level. He struggled to find his place at school and spent years looking for a way to channel his anger. At around nineteen or twenty, he entered a boxing gym to give that energy a different direction.
A short amateur career brought regional titles and competitive experience. He then chose professional boxing to build his own name. His first trip abroad as a professional made him realise that his career could reach beyond the setting in which it began.
Patience, fear and returning
After losing his father, İsmail faced financial difficulties and a lengthy interruption linked to a serious back injury. In his account, he describes the weight of watching his career stand still and the effort of rebuilding.
He sometimes tried to move on, but the idea of being a boxer never left him. Adversity taught him to listen more, observe before reacting and wait for the right moment. He acknowledges fear during a fight: for him, courage means managing it and doing his job despite it. His boxing combines patience and reading an opponent with explosive changes of pace.
An overseas camp with Tunal remains a vivid memory: meeting the team again, discovering his accommodation and gym, and feeling valued and supported. He describes the relationship through discipline, friendship, support, respect and mutual dedication.

Tunal Group, from a meeting to a shared journey
The collaboration, through the fighter’s eyes.
Tunal Group entered İsmail’s life at his training gym. In his account, the team recognised his potential and offered an opportunity at the start of his professional journey. He describes support ranging from guidance to contacts in gyms and at events, with the team remaining present through difficult moments. A camp abroad remains a powerful memory of that trust. İsmail now wants to grow his career and Tunal’s name together, then pass on to others the support he received.
HIS AMBITION
Pursue titles, open doors for the next generation and ultimately build a peaceful life close to nature.
Potential recognised
The team met him in training; İsmail sees the opportunity they offered as an important step in his professional beginnings.
Support over time
He recalls guidance, time and resources invested by Tunal, as well as the team’s presence when the journey became difficult.
Growing together
İsmail wants to carry Tunal’s name as his own career develops and share the belts he hopes to win.
TUNAL GROUP / IN HIS CORNER
What your support means.
İsmail wants to build more than a record: a better life for his mother and himself, followed by opportunities for the next generation of fighters. In his questionnaire he discusses future gyms and tourism projects, hoping to carry his connection with Tunal into them. These are ambitions, not businesses already operating.
His personal dream also includes a farm, horses and a life close to nature. For a partner, his journey brings together sporting ambition, patience and passing on experience: succeed, then give others the support he once needed.
