01 / BEHIND THE GLOVES

A childhood on the move. A sporting dream.

Shane was born in Berlin on 14 February 1994. Frequent moves shaped his childhood, leaving him without one particular place he could call home or say he grew up in. Moving became part of his story.

Sport was a constant. He and his brother turned almost everything into a challenge, always competing with each other. That competitive mindset developed early. His brother also brought him into boxing; both became involved in the sport as young children.

He dreamed of becoming an athlete. Watching fights on television and YouTube gave that dream a clearer direction: one day stepping into the ring as a professional. The more boxing he watched, the more he wanted to make it his own life.

02 / THE JOURNEY

2021: turning professional during the pandemic.

Shane had relatively few amateur fights. He explains that bureaucracy and administrative obstacles in Germany often prevented him from competing regularly. Despite that, he stayed committed to his goal.

In 2021, COVID-19 restrictions made amateur competition almost impossible. A promoter offered him the opportunity to turn professional. He gives 15 May 2021 as his debut date and remembers a very small venue, only a few spectators and intense nerves. That evening began his professional journey.

In his questionnaire relayed on 27 October 2026, he reports 10 wins, no losses and no draws, with 5 wins by knockout. He boxes at light heavyweight in a southpaw stance and lists Randori Pro Spandau Berlin as his gym. These details are his own declarations.

03 / EXPERIENCE & MOTIVATION

The journey, in depth.

Before Tunal: carrying the project alone

Before signing with Tunal Group, Shane says he had to handle almost everything himself: finding sponsors to finance his career, organising fights and opponents, and paying for sparring partners and training camps. Alongside it all came the responsibility of providing for his family.

He also describes being underestimated and having his ambitions dismissed, sometimes by people close to him. Those experiences taught him that not everyone would believe in his vision. He chose to keep working and let his actions speak louder than other people’s opinions.

Doubt, recovery and moving forward

He has thought about giving up several times. Balancing boxing, financial responsibilities and family life can become exhausting. When it all feels overwhelming, he has learned to look for simple things: a little peace, a good meal and time to clear his mind. Those moments help him recharge and find motivation again.

He does not believe he has to be strong every single day; what matters is finding the strength to continue. Difficult times have strengthened his mindset. He now knows why he boxes and what he is working towards. Boxing is no longer only a dream: it has become a purpose. He also wants to appreciate the journey, not just the results.

His family, at the heart of every fight

His last three fights have been especially meaningful. For the first time, he truly feels his journey is making his son, wife and father proud. Winning alone no longer describes what he wants: he hopes to build a legacy his family can be proud of for generations.

He fights for them, but also for himself. He wants to show that work, discipline and belief can lead to things others might never expect from you. Above all, he wants his son to grow up with an example: you can keep pursuing your dreams even when the journey becomes difficult.

Counter, read and adapt

Shane describes himself as a counterpuncher. He also believes a good fighter must always be able to adapt. Patience and smart decision-making matter to him both inside and outside the ring.

His sporting goal is deliberately step by step. His full attention is on his next fight and on continuing to improve as a professional. After that, he hopes to earn an opportunity to fight for a title.
