01 / BEHIND THE GLOVES

A journey rooted in Deux-Sèvres.

Born on 29 October 1998 in Niort, Alexandre grew up in Saint-Rémy, a village roughly ten minutes from the town. He describes a childhood with limited means in the Deux-Sèvres countryside. That starting point shaped his belief that having little means learning to build more through work.

His father gave him a principle he still follows: “Anyone who refuses to improve has already stopped being good.” Around him, he also encountered a harsher understanding of respect and strength. A shy child with little confidence who sometimes felt excluded, he spent years searching for his place. He recalls a period of violence before seeking a different outlet for his energy.

Boxing had interested him since childhood, but his parents would not let him take it up. At 21, using his own earnings, he bought gloves, a mouthguard and his first boxing licence. He entered the gym to prove himself and find a healthier structure. What began as a search for recognition became a passion for the sport itself.

02 / THE JOURNEY

Building a career, one step at a time.

He boxes at light heavyweight, reporting a division limit of 79.4 kg. Alexandre has not contested an official amateur bout. His first club did not enter newcomers in competition during their first year. The pandemic then interrupted training, followed by two shoulder dislocations, surgery and months of rehabilitation.

From late 2024 to late 2025, he lived in Philadelphia as an au pair while continuing to box. He reports training and sparring with state champions, national champions and a member of the US Olympic team. These are accounts of training experience, not national-team selections or titles on his own record.

As of 26 October 2026, he reports a professional record of 0 wins, 0 losses and 0 draws, with his official debut still ahead. He separates an exhibition on 30 August 2026, which he describes as a loss, from his professional career. He also reports eight contests outside the official amateur framework, with a personal tally of 6 wins, 1 loss and 1 draw; these are excluded from his official statistics. He does not yet claim any amateur or professional title.

03 / EXPERIENCE & MOTIVATION

The journey, in depth.

The shoulder injury, surgery and return

The first dislocation led to three months of rehabilitation, before his shoulder dislocated again. Surgery meant another six months of rehabilitation, followed by rebuilding athletic fitness. Alexandre had left his job to focus on boxing when his surgeon warned that competing at a high level might no longer be possible. He describes it as one of his hardest moments.

By late 2023, he felt he had lost time to the pandemic and injury. His later move to the United States reflected his wish to resume his progress. He describes no shortcut: the return required treatment, training, patience and successive steps.

Remembering his “why”

Alexandre acknowledges having doubts and considering stopping. At those times he returns to two things: work, and the reason he started. He believes a deeply held purpose helps him face obstacles and begin moving again.

Faith has become important in that process. He says adversity brought him closer to God and strengthened his determination. A serious family hardship also influenced his decision to pursue the professional transition. Family remains central: he wants to represent himself, his loved ones and his country on major stages, while showing young people facing difficulties that a modest start does not determine how their story ends.

Heart and commitment in the ring

He describes himself as resilient, determined and keen to put on entertaining fights. His “Spartan mentality” expresses a willingness to commit and stay engaged through difficult moments. Above all, he wants his boxing to reflect heart and a clear sense of purpose.

He hopes to be remembered as someone who started with little, accepted the sacrifices and never stopped improving. His ultimate dream is to become a unified world champion; within three to five years he aims for at least a continental title and a world top-50 position. These are ambitions, not achievements already earned.

Beyond boxing: protecting big cats

Alongside his “The Fang” nickname, Alexandre has an interest beyond boxing: protecting big cats. He dreams of one day opening a nature reserve in Africa to contribute to their conservation. This remains a personal ambition, not an organisation already established.

He also wants his story to offer an example to children growing up in difficult circumstances. His message is that what matters is not only the hand you are dealt at the start, but what you decide to do with it through work and learning.

04 / THE PROMOTION. THE SHARED PROJECT.

A meeting in Philadelphia. A shared project.

The collaboration, through the fighter’s eyes.

During his year in Philadelphia, the previous au pair introduced him to friends from Tunal during a fight weekend. Alexandre met Florent Dervis and Thomas Guillemette. He remembers their approachable manner, the trust that developed quickly and the feeling of joining a team that believed in him.

Signing his first professional contract in front of his mother remains his strongest Tunal memory. That contract is distinct from his official ring debut, which is still ahead. Reaching that milestone in her presence gave him particular pride.

He describes personalised support with nutrition, physical preparation, technical work, camps and international fight opportunities. Above all, he values the kindness of the people around him and their commitment to helping him succeed.

He wants to grow with the organisation, become a champion and contribute to Tunal Group’s international recognition. When speaking to another fighter, he would start with that trust and a team determined to keep progressing together.

HIS AMBITION

Become a unified world champion. Over the next three to five years, aim for a continental title and a place in the world top 50.

TUNAL GROUP / IN HIS CORNER

What your support means.

Supporting Alexandre means backing a fighter from Deux-Sèvres who wants to represent his rural roots internationally. His project is built around work, improvement, loyalty to his loved ones and persistence. There are concrete chapters to share: rebuilding after injury, learning in the United States, joining Tunal and preparing for his professional debut.

A brand can work with Tunal on a partnership around that progress: training, camps, meeting audiences and content agreed together. Alexandre particularly wants to show young people that social background need not determine their future. His interest in protecting big cats adds a personal dimension to explore, without presenting his dream of a reserve as an existing conservation organisation.
